Jonathan & Holly {Wedding}

Jonathan & Holly met at the Air Force Academy and were married in June at the Air Force Chapel.  Because of this, they had a reception back home in Maryland to celebrate with Holly's side of the family & her friends.  It was such a lovely day!  My favorite part of weddings are the getting ready time and the reception, but by the time I make it to the reception i'm pretty tired.  This wedding was the best because they skipped the ceremony and instead showed a video of it during the reception!  I've known Holly since I was 5, and it's so surreal to think that I would be shooting this for her!  It's so wonderful to catch up with old friends.  :)

As they got ready I talked to Holly.  (And maybe helped curl her hair? ;)  "So what are your wedding colors?"  *Big smile*  "Hot pink!"  "Oh yes, I can tell.  :D"

She told me all about Jonathan "He's from Texas!  We wears a hat, and boots, and everything!  I love it.  I love him, it's so great.  I love today, it's like a wedding without all the stress.  What about you?  Any guys in your life?"

They chatted and hair sprayed and got all ready together as sisters.  :)  Photobucket

Then we headed over to the Country Club for their pictures.

Now that's how you cut a cupcake! Photobucket

Holly's Dad is the owner of our local Chick-fil-a (shout out to their lemonade!  I die with joy each time I drink it)  and he had a surprise for her.  ;)  Photobucket

The Chick-fil-a cow made an apparence to really get the party started! Photobucket

It was definitely a celebration.  :)

It was a lovely "wedding" and I enjoyed every part!  Congratulations and Jonathan & Holly!

Ellie Be {Senior}

Little Miss Ellie Berry.  We all know her, you probably love her, or at least her pictures, and let me just say, she lives up to the hype.  She is so bubbly and so sweet.  Think of your favorite flavor of pie, (ohhh! I know this one!  Lemon, lemon!) and she's as sweet as that.  (Oh goodness, I just gave a pie that is tart.  Ok forget that example. ;) I love lemons, ok? :P)  Something random that I learned about her, she has the cutest voice.  Hahaha when you only know someone through their blog and texting it's something you never notice, but her voice just reflects her personality so perfectly and it's kind of adorable.  :D  We did each other's senior pictures and on a scale of 1 to really fun, we were at like 12.  Which means we were fabulous AND fun!  Double threat.  ;D Photobucket

John & Lori {Engagement}

John & Lori... They have quite the story.  Half of our church called their dating and engagement.  "Did you see them serve together at the youth retreat?  They're so gonna be together!"  "I called John & Lori like 3 months ago."  "Well, I called it 6 months ago!"  "Guys, everyone knows it's going to happen."

I had the pleasure of being one of the first people to know of their "officialness" (that's right, before the facebook moment ;) and yes, I DID keep the secret just fine for the record. hehe.)  It was such a fun moment.  Their dating relationship was darling, and during the Christmas season, John proposed to Lori by placing the ring on the top of her Christmas tree.  He placed it on the Angel's wings, which, mind you, he hand made just for his special woman. Can I get an "awww"?  They are one of the sweetest couples and it was such a pleasure to take their pictures. I can't wait for their July wedding! If you notice something about John & Lori with these pictures, it's that John is always looking at his soon to be bride.  It's quite precious, really.

They are so smitten.
Photobucket

Little fact about this couple, John is 6 foot tall, and Lori doesn't even reach 5 feet.  It's quite darling to see them together.

With every compliment I gave, John immediately put back on Lori.  "So beautiful guys! Perfect."
"Isn't she though? I think so too."  Oh John, such class.  :D

"Perfect, just stay right there!"  "Oh, don't worry Anne, I love to look at this all day."
Is your heart melting yet?  They just glow in these pictures and it's not hard to see why!

I used the words "darling" and "precious" about 60 times for this shoot.  They have such a kind, energetic, playful, and special relationship!

Oh hugs.  <3

My favorite quote from the day was when I mentioned how well John does caring for Lori and how he talks to her.  He replied, "Well, you know. I kind of like this whole flirting thing and being able to do it."  With a big grin.  :D

John & Lori, I'm so happy with how your pictures turned out and it was a pleasure to take them.  Happy wedding planning!

 I'm in full swing with highschool graduation and finals so life is pretty crazy right now, but I hope to get a personal post up soon to update you all!
