Sibling Shoot:Brickers

You know what's fun? Not having a computer for over a week. Yeah, gotta love the black screen of death.. :-/
But alas, I am finally back and ready to share pictures! On a suuuuper (yeah.. like SUUUPER!!!) exciting note, I have now booked my own wedding for May! Not just a wedding. But... A WEDDING!!! hehehe. ;)
Now the for the main event, I give you the fabulous, seriously, why are so you good looking? Brickers. Music extraordinaire's and downright fun people. :)

Being the loving family that they are, Thomas, the oldest, thought it was a wonderful idea to get some sibling pictures for his Mom's birthday. (Props to you, son!)

And being as musically talented as they are, it was pretty obvious that "duuh. We're bringing our instruments." My thought process: "Oh, that'll be cute! But how on earth do I pose that?" Yeah. I think I nailed it. ;) haha

Honestly, my job that day was pretty superb. I have been waiting forever to find a family that could work at my grandfather's farm, so I was stoked to finally make it happen. I know the farm like the back of my hand, and knew exactly where to go. This old, Ford, white, truck in the middle of the hay field just made things even better.

Let's see, starting from the left, we have, Sam, Thomas, Olivia, Brianna, and Alisa.

I think your mom is gonna like 'em. :D

Best part of the whole shoot. I finally got to work with back lighting, and I pretty much got a free concert as they just jammed away. In the hay field. With golden sunlight. Oooh yes.

Yeah. Go ahead, just be jealous of their awesome good looks. You know it's true.

This what I call a "personality" picture.

And since they had 5 ukulele's, it only made sense to have a little jam session with those too, right?

So, who else wants some farm pictures?!

Potrait Session: Nicki & Kirstin

I had so much fun today with my fellow internship girls! We've been trying to get together for months now and we finally made it happen. Although we were one girl short, it was still a great time. Kristen also showed up for a little bit to say "Hi" which was wonderful. :) We decided to rock our pictures in Old Town Gaithersburg.

Little miss Nicki is a talk talk talker. ;) Which I love. :D She is so cute and such a joy. We had some amazing laughs during our internship since we were both the outgoing ones. :)

Have I mentioned I have a thing for laughing pictures?

Kirstin is super fab, and I just love her style. She is pretty much the exact opposite of Nicki and I, which is awesome, because then we are totally balanced out. :D
Photobucket

Did I mention her super cute-ness? Plus, her pictures are so good, and she has this amazing way of writing like perfect blog posts. Kirstin, I want to be like you when I grow up. ;)

Mackinac Island

I'm back from our wonderful family vacation! We spent a full day on Mackinac Island, and it was simply glorious. I miss it so much! Mackinac Island is in Northern Michigan, and they're no cars on the Island. You have to take a ferry to just get to the island, it's wonderful! Everyone just bikes around or takes carriage rides. We did both. :D I biked over 9 miles and enjoyed every moment. The water is so clear there. I'm used to lake water being a brownish color, it was blue and vibrant! We also stopped by the Mackinac Bridge to take pictures. :] The rest of our trip was spent at a friend's lake house. :)
