Hannah {Senior}

This week I did Hannah's senior pictures! We had such a great time, and it involved a lot of walking, (FYI, all my shoots normally have this occur. :P) bare feet, water, mud, trees, and pink. She is absolutely lovely and I am so thrilled with how her pictures turned out. She def. got in touch with her inner Tyra Banks. ;)

Everytime I ask a girl for her personality picture, they give me hearts. It's the cutest thing. :D

Hannah asked for one thing in her e-mails "I want pictures with a willow tree" so of course, I just don't have a girl sit under a tree. Oh, no, I make her go IN the freezing cold water where the tree is cascading. And if that weren't enough, you have to go down a very muddy and steep bank to get there. I legit respect her for how clean she kept herself. :D

"Oh my goodness, Hannah, are you thinking what i'm thinking?" "Umm, I might!" "Water, tree, you.. Let's do it." But hey, I did it too, (in a skirt, in fact!) and i'm so glad I did! The pictures have such a better feel because I was in the water with her.

I love how she was totally game for whatever I threw at her. :D

Hannah, it was so great doing pictures with you! You're simply gorgeous and it was a total delight. :)

Workshops, couples, & seniors! {Teasers}

Summer, and sunshine, and lemons, and yellow things, and warm weather, and flowy skirts, and new owl city songs, and lemons as my desktop picture, and how editing pictures on the mac is way faster then on the old PC. :D *deep inhale* Happy Wednesday, guys. <3

Jennette {Senior}

Jennette is another one of my 2011 seniors! We met years ago at awana, and have become closer because we both go to the same community college and do lunch with our other friends together! :D Her shoot was actually planned for later in the month, but this weather has been so un-predictable I asked if we could move it up to a day where I knew it was going to be sunny. It was sunny all day--until the shoot started. Oh goodness, i'm so ready for May photoshoots, I can't keep up with April weather! Good thing I had a beautiful girl who still rocked it! :)

Jennette opted for my grandfathers farm and the pictures turned out great! I love having the farm as my go to location. :)

I love the outfits she chose! Headbands are always a plus in my book. ;D

Why yes, I do love people in green fields with beautiful dresses. :D

I may or may not steal Taylor Swift poses. .. ;)

Right at the end Mr. Sunshine decided he should make an appearance again. :]

Olivia {Senior}

Olivia. Ohhh Olivia, I quite like her. :D Our shoot started with busy phone calls trying to find one another and search our way through DC, and my frantic need of a bathroom. (TMI? :P) "I'm on 9th street I think?" "Where are you in relation to the Washington Monument?" "Ummm.. I don't know where I am! Do you see the big white tent? I'm there!" Took us about 20 minutes, involved a lot of running on my part, but we found each other and started shooting!

Olivia is such a lighthearted, happy soul. She is gorgeous, loves nature, makes really good food (i'm not even kidding, i've had it. Tis amazing.) and really just wants to be a Godly wife and mother. & I'm not going to lie, it fits her perfectly. Until then, she'll be leading Bible studies for younger girls, and waiting to see where God leads her! :D Mhmm, sounds pretty good, no?

She is so sweet and caring. As we started the process of e-mailing back and forth we got to know one another better, and one day she wrote on my facebook wall and said "I just think we should be friends, I like you." Umm, I guess I can like you too? ;) This is my kind of girl! :D

Gorg, gorg, stunner, stunner!

She has such a heart for her family and it's so beautiful to see. I love hearing about things she does with her siblings! Whether it be her brother taking her out for dinner, or spending a day hiking with her sisters, or spending time with her mom in the kitchen. Her love and gratefulness for her family is so evident.

As you're looking at these, you're probably thinking how gorgeous she is (how could you not?) so while your doing that, keep in mind this girl owns and shoots guns, has a home grown garden, plays volleyball, camps, goes fishing, wears make-up, looks good in a skirt, and loves the Lord. Oh Olivia, I legit want to be like you when I grow up. ;)

She thinks i'm funny. I think i'm funny, too. :P

She's cute. Like pie.. Let's say, cherry pie? Yes, yes, she's as cute as cherry pie. :D hehe

Ahh this is a favorite. Sometimes my clients have a hard time loosening up in public. (I mean, there's 20 people walking by them, it's a little scary) So I make them publicly humiliate themselves so they feel comfortable. (Real nice, right? ;) "Ok, ok, so you put your hip out like this, and I want a Mona Lisa smile." *looks around* "Not feeling it, are you? Ok, ready? Do a little jig, *starts dancing* now smile, wave to the people, yes, even that guy right there. I'm doing it too, it's ok! Wave woman, wave!" "Ummm hi there Mr! Now i'm smiling, and waving, is this good?" Lots of laughs came from this. :D

Waa cha, you gorgeous cherry pie, you. :D (Is it lame if I laugh at my own jokes? hahaha)

All day we had very even light because it was pretty overcast, but right at the end we got some sunshine and I was SO happy to use some backlight!

Rock your inner Taylor Swift, girlfriend!

Olivia, thanks for being so darn wonderful, walking all over creation with me, and actually waving at the people. :D Hehe, love you girl!
