Things are coming..
Oh my, now that spring has come things are starting to pick up. :D I will be blogging very soon about a new addition to the family (a camera, of course ;]) and a Senior shoot. For now I'm off to my churche's Ladies' retreat! Happy Friday!
I've been able to get in some bonding time in with my older brother. It's delightful. :] (We were about to get our dog in the hammock too. :P)

I take pictures. I guess you could say it's kinda my thing. :]
I just love looking at photography blogs and seeing the "behind the scenes" type pictures. You know, somebody taking pictures of somebody taking a picture? I think it's so fun. Here's me doing my thing in Italy. All photo credit goes to my Mom, Jessie, or Katherine! :]
(They all had different cameras so the quality varies)
I did this a lot on the trip, and it's hard to keep a straigh face when you know someone is taking your picture. So *trying to make it candid by not smiling* turns into Anne looking sad. oops!
Happy Monday!
Stay Beautiful,
Anne

Florence
"So, did you like Florence?" "Psh. Is Taylor Swift pretty?" ;) Florence was my kind of place. I'm all ready to hop on a plane and go back, just give me a day or so to do laundry and pack. Calm, beautiful, polite, romantic, and down right wonderful was my experience!
Florence has Tiramisu Gelato? Can it get better?
I just loved how Jessie matched the gelateria!
They had amazing open-air markets. Besides my awesome sweatshirt, I also got two shirts (One saying, "Ciao Bella". How awesome is that?) and three scarves. Holler!
The Duomo & Bell Tower!
We hiked alllll the way to the top. It was so so so pretty.
Me and my Daddy at the top!
Amazing views? Um, yeah!
Little Miss Gorgeous, Jessie
Ahhh. The pizza. Oh my. It was so good! We went to this special place at least 3 times during our trip 'cause it was so amazing!
We would get our pizza to go, sit on these church steps, and look at this. So great.
My class with the Gates of Paradise! Each section of the doors has a different Bible story. :) This is my favorite group picture from the trip.
I.want.this.bike. And then I will bike all over Florence and be a happy camper! :D
Beautiful Chloe
Random ninja game while we wait in line? Yes please!
One of the days we walked up 50 million stairs. (Ok, so maybe not 50 million, more like 30 million. ;]) The views were great but I was exhausted!
Nick would always get to the top first. Heh. :P
The amazing views we had after reaching the top. I was in Florence heaven!
Family shot? I think yes!
And then we just sat... & looked at the amazing views... & were quiet... & soaked it all up.
Chloe! My philosophy quoting, fun loving, lip gloss wearing friend. :]
Katherine! My single ladies, camera rockin, and scrave shopping friend!
Me & my Momma!

David! We weren't allowed to take pictures, but I've never let a sign stop me from capturing a very important memory. He was incredible though! You could see the veins in his arms and legs. So.Fantastic.
The fooooood! Oh my goodness. Being the Food Network junkie that I am, the food market we found made me so stinkin' happy. The bread was so good!
These were the best ever. I give you the cream filled Bomboloni! The cream was sweet, but not too sweet, and I swear my Dad and I could have eaten six 'cause they were amazing!
He is the Bomboloni King. We liked them so much we had to get a picture and he was so nice!
Did I mention it was good?
Cheeeese!!
Cute lil town. I like it there. :D
The Ponte Vecchio! We did not buy any jewelry, but the window shopping was very nice!
Random sitting-on-a-ledge-by-the-water-and-taking-pictures-of-Jessie-shoot. :P
And then we went into random alleys and sang. It was quite delightful. ^_^
On the way home!
Well, dear Florence, I miss you molto grande. But your memories will last forever. Bye for now!Stay Beautiful, Anne

Roma!
....Last blog post April 1st? Really? It's been that long? My goodness, I am so sorry! Life has be crazy and its taken quite some time to edit all my pictures. BUT I am back and ready to tell you all about Rome! We took a quick 2 hour flight from London, Heathrow, (where we my mom and I met up with my dad) and then landed in the Rome airport. I was very scared when we first got their because my knowledge of Italian was "ciao" and I pretty much knew nothing else. :P Everything went smoothly though, and the language barrier really wasn't that bad on the trip. Once we arrived we met up with my classmates and our teacher gave us exactly 15 minutes in our hotel rooms before we would leave. At that moment I became SO grateful for my 3 days in London so I could adjust to the time and get some sleep, because I knew I wouldn't have made it any other way. After navigating through the Roman subway we came out and then BOOM! The Coliseum was right in front of us! It was so amazing. I really did not have time to get amazing shots because we were constantly moving, but here are some of what I was able to capture. :]
(Being the music lover that I am, I just HAD to listen to "on the wing" by Owl City on the plane ride to Rome since we were literally on the wing!)
Heheh. This is quite normal in our family. Do whatever you have to do to achive a good shot! Always look for a different & unique angle. :D
We had quite the paparazzi on the trip. :D
Rome has palm trees! I was so excited because I absolutely adore palm trees. ^_^
Our first night there I ordered my favorite dessert, Tiramisu! Unlike American Tiramisu it had more of a chocolate taste then coffee taste, but I still loved it!
With our amazing waiter. He was really nice, and did an amazing job serving such a big group! :)
School of Athens!! I was so excited when I saw it. Here is me with all the girls on the trip, plus my teacher's 8 year old son, Ben. :)
You aren't allowed to take pictures in the Vatican, so these are not that great, but i'm still glad I got some. :)
We climbed all the way up the dome and the views were amazing! One of my favorite parts of the trip was climbing all the domes.
Me and mah Daddy! ;)
That night everything had a blue and gold glow and it was positively stunning!
I could have taken picturs of this for at least 30 minutes, but I had about 3 seconds cause the group was moving on. :(
Walking around Rome that night and working on my Bokeh skills. :]
All the "single ladies" on the spanish steps. :P
We only spent 3 days in Rome but 7 days in Florence, so Florence pictures will be up soon!Stay Beautiful, Anne
