I had a wonderful shoot with John & Mary Claire last week! They will be married in August and it was a delight to take their pictures. Enjoy!

The summer of collages
"We don't even have to try, it's always a good time."
This summer has been one of the most incredible and happy summers. I had a very heavy work load my senior year, and sacrificed a lot of things. It's simply amazing to have time to "falalala" as I like to say this summer and see my hard work pay off! :D Summer started with my senior pictures done by the ever lovely Ellie Berry and just unraveled from there. I love my iPhone, and lately i've been pretty obsessed with making collages + instagraming them. So here's my summer!
I love skirts. Love love them. Lately half my wardrobe is skirts and I get ridiculously excited when I find new cute ones. :D
Also love love love Captain America. ;)
I went to West Virginia! And didn't have cell service. And survived! It was kind of a big deal. ;D Hehe but one of my favorite of favorites are fields, so my heart was so happy to be there.
Oh, have I had girl time. <3
And brother time! Good gosh isn't he just so snazzy?
Saw what felt like 50 fireworks displays this summer. Loved every minute though!
I take being festive on the 4th of July really seriously. :D If I can be a walking American flag, then a flag I shall be!
So many work things and social events means very very little down time, so when I get them it's so fantastic!
I went to California! & Saw "The big trees!"
My time in California was one of the best highlights of my senior year. Love my friends there!
I have a lot of blog posts coming your way soon, but there's my little "halfway through the summer" update! As always, I update the facebook page quite frequently. So be sure to "like" that for updates! :)

Jonathan & Holly {Wedding}
Jonathan & Holly met at the Air Force Academy and were married in June at the Air Force Chapel. Because of this, they had a reception back home in Maryland to celebrate with Holly's side of the family & her friends. It was such a lovely day! My favorite part of weddings are the getting ready time and the reception, but by the time I make it to the reception i'm pretty tired. This wedding was the best because they skipped the ceremony and instead showed a video of it during the reception! I've known Holly since I was 5, and it's so surreal to think that I would be shooting this for her! It's so wonderful to catch up with old friends. :)
As they got ready I talked to Holly. (And maybe helped curl her hair? ;) "So what are your wedding colors?" *Big smile* "Hot pink!" "Oh yes, I can tell. :D"
She told me all about Jonathan "He's from Texas! We wears a hat, and boots, and everything! I love it. I love him, it's so great. I love today, it's like a wedding without all the stress. What about you? Any guys in your life?"
They chatted and hair sprayed and got all ready together as sisters. :)
Then we headed over to the Country Club for their pictures.
My angle
Dad's angle
We drove all around in the golf carts. :)
Everything was in full swing when we made it back to the reception, and the details were lovely with there hot pink!
Now that's how you cut a cupcake!
Holly's Dad is the owner of our local Chick-fil-a (shout out to their lemonade! I die with joy each time I drink it) and he had a surprise for her. ;)
The Chick-fil-a cow made an apparence to really get the party started!
It was definitely a celebration. :)
It was a lovely "wedding" and I enjoyed every part! Congratulations and Jonathan & Holly!
