Pure Happiness

The second day was just down right fun. We went to Gettysburg, PA and then to Dillsburg (home of the dill pickle) to visit my best friend. First we hit the Gettysburg museum gift shop.

"You churn that butter, Petra!"


One of the best moments the whole trip was seeing Petra like this. It started to drizzle a little as we were walking in. Petra explained how in California it's always really cold when it rains. She expressed how much she had always wanted to dance in warm rain. Well, after seeing the educational movie at the museum we could hear how hard the rain was coming down when we left the theater. We gave one look to each other and just started bolting towards the doors.


I grabbed my camera and started shooting. I'm so glad I was able to capture her happiness!
