It's about LOVE.

Happy Valentine's Day! I know, I'm late, but why just have one day to spread the love? ;) hehe. Since God hasn't placed that amazing guy in my life yet, I thought I would do a post all about the amazing people He has given me.

My #1 is pretty easy. My brother, Jamey, is most definitely my best guy friend. I love and care for him so much. I am not in touch with my older sister, so having Jamey as a brother means the world to me. I don't get to see him often, but when we do it's so nice, even if we don't do much. I'm not afraid to tell him exactly what I think, and I love being his little "shutter bug" :D
We also both love aviators, if you couldn't tell. ;]


You all know about Rachael by now, and now you know that she is my closest friend. When we are together it is filled with laughter, fun, random dancing, food, photoshoots, bike rides, and deep conversations. She is so supportive of my business and I tell her everything. Christina is also a wonderful sister girl sister friend, and brings a lot of joy to my life, she is SO funny!


Victoria and I have been friends for about 3 years, and it's amazing how close we can be, since we are polar opposites. She wears chap stick, I wear lipgloss. She likes hardcore music, and I'm a Michael Buble' huggin Taylor Swift lovin' kind of girl. She is little miss punky, funky girl, and I am little miss outgoing and happy. She's blonde, I'm brunette, and trust me I could go on. ;) I think if we lived together we would kill one another. That being said, we have a really awesome relationship. I know her really well, and sitting on her bed and having deep conversations are my favorite thing to do. Victoria helps me see that not everybody loves sappy movies and pop music. :D


I've only known Jessica for about 2 months, but I feel like I have known her forever. We talk every single day. Her Godly encouragement and love are inspiring, and her laughter and smile are contagious. I have a pretty good feeling we will be friends for a very long time. :D

Natalia is my buddy. She is my walking buddy, my acountability buddy, and my organizing buddy. Our times together are simple and sweet. ^_^


Emmie and I have such fun together. We both hate dissections in Biology (even if we are good at them) and have pretty awesome style if I do say so myself. ;) She knows that sometimes I just need a little pushing before I can do something, so together we make a great team.

Oh Nyquil, how I love thee.

Life has been very crazy but very calm at the same time these past weeks. Last weekend I went down to see my brother in Fairfax and went to a George Mason basketball game.



I don't get to see my brother that often, so spending time with him is amazing. It snowed that weekend so we really didn't do much besides go to the game, but I loved it. That night we went and had a sit down dinner with just the two of us and it was SO great. I could have cried I was so happy. The quality time I shared with him was wonderful and I love him so much! (We got hardcore on the Mason spirit. ;))


I'm sure you've all heard about it, and now you can see it! We have gotten hammered with snow. 30 inches and counting! It was totally crazy but gave my family good reason to sit at home and be with each other. We spent the weekend watching seasons of NCIS and it was great!

But Anne, why didn't you go out and take pictures of the beautiful snow? Haha. ;) I have been sick for several days now. Besides being exhausted, and half my face being raw from blowing my nose every 2 minutes, I'm starting to get better! I discoverd that Nyquil is the most amazing drug ever. Last night was the first time I actually slept thanks to that beautiful medicine! :D

Twin Shoot.

My goodness! I've been so busy dissecting sheeps brains I forgot to blog about Richard & Rachael! Well, Richard & Rachael are by far my favorite twins I have ever met. They love each other so much and it's amazing to watch them be together. After Rachael's party we went outside and did a quick shoot for their birthday. The ground was all wet, so I couldn't do some of the poses I had in mind, but here are my favorites.



They're pretty darn cute if you ask me. ;]

This is a big deal.

Attention bloggers & blog stalkers, today, yours truly, Anne Wesolek, creator of "ae photography" dissected a sheep's heart. You may be thinking "Oh good for her, no big deal." Well my friend, this is a VERY big deal! We have done several dissections in my biology class this year and I haven't gone near any of them. "Wow, that's cool, but I'm just gonna stand here & watch you cut that brain open and write my notes. Oh no, I'm good, I don't need to touch it. Um, You got some brain on your biology book." That was me, the girl who was totally disgusted by it all. But not anymore! I am now a well trained sheep heart dissector extraordinaire! (OK so maybe I'm over doing it a little.) But you know it's a big deal when your teacher gets out her cell phone and takes a picture because she is so surprised. :D I am now officially announcing my well trained abilities to do dissections, and photography! Be proud people, this is a very big deal. :)

A Time for Tea.

My best friend, Rachael, turned 14 this week, and she had such a fun tea party.



All the details were so well thought out, and the Settle family went out of their way to make things look elegant and classy.

Favorites from 2009

I hope everyone had a delightful holiday! :) 2009 was a major year for me. I officially kicked started my business in June after my internship, bought lightroom, and I am already saving for new updates that will further professionalize my business. During our internship we talked a lot about pictures that represent who we are as photographers and how we want our business to look. Here are some of my favorites, and I really feel like they scream "ae photography". :)

Snow & Family.

My amazing big brother has graduated from College!! ahh *does happy dance* plus we got 18 inches of snow! :D I think that's a great reason to take family pictures, don't you?



18 inches of snow is quite hard to get through, and only having a tripod makes for very staged pictures, they are still cute!
